Author: Rory Ni Coileain
Release Date: February 28, 2014
Genre: Erotic Paranormal Romance

Synopsis

Rian Sheridan is a foundling, a Northern Irish Catholic corner boy whose world was destroyed in fire, and reborn the same way, beside an Orangemen’s bonfire last July the Twelfth. A consuming, dimly-remembered pain in his past calls to him, taunting him, daring him to find it and lose himself to it in the S&M underground of Belfast. Cuinn an Dearmad is the last surviving Fae Loremaster, and he’s just seen the beginning of the death of the Realm, the haven of the Fae race. The only hope of stopping it starts with him finding the Prince Royal of Fire he stole from the cradle, and lost in the human world, many years ago. He has a few guesses about where that hope ends, and he doesn’t like any of them. Rian and Cuinn are an impossible pairing, two SoulShared Fae. Any two Fae will strike sparks, but these two Fae are a conflagration. Unable to stand one another, yet drawn into an escalating series of sexual collisions, their passion will either save a world or destroy it.

Shite. Apparently thinking of the male was enough to make him appear. Although, to be honest, if that were the case, Cuinn would have been here several hours and a dozen small fires ago. “I don’t suppose you’d feck off if I asked.” The answering silence went on for so long that Rian finally hauled the pillow off and turned his head toward the voice. Oh, Jaysus. Never had he seen a man so beautiful; the sight stopped his heart. Beauty had never been a concern of his, only what a man was willing to do to him, to bring him closer to what he needed. But there was little of desire in the way the Fae looked at him. Nothing like what he’d grown accustomed to, through the use of his gift, making men want him whether they willed it or no. “I wouldn’t.” There was exhaustion in Cuinn’s voice, as if he’d spent the time since their coffeehouse tryst at some heavy labor. “Though I would, if I had any sense of self-preservation.” There was a sobering, and unsettling, sense of finality to the other Fae’s words. “I’m not after destroying you.” Not that he hadn’t wanted to, a time or two. But the taste of joy he’d had in the coffeehouse had changed all that. Cuinn shook his head. “It’s not your doing.” He seemed about to say something else, but stopped, and sniffed, brows arching as he glanced around the bedroom. “I realize everyone needs a hobby, but arson? Really?” Rian pushed himself up to sit against the headboard, with a sense of deja vu. Had it only been the middle of last night, when Cuinn appeared to him, determined to resist him but doomed to fail? “It helps. A little.”

Interview Time!
See how Rory responded to some of my quirky questions:

Name one actor/actress you would like to get naughty with.
Liam Neeson. *falls into happy contemplative daze and nearly misses the next question*

Do you like dogs or cats?
Individual dogs, and all cats. I had a bad experience with a mastiff once when I was maybe three years old, and I have to get over it all over again when I meet a new dog. At least, dogs over a certain size.

If I came to your home and looked inside the refrigerator, what would I find?
It depends. If you arrive before my 17-year-old son gets home from school: skim milk, bread, cottage cheese, bagels, a 2-liter bottle of soda, lunch meat, ketchup, mustard, mayo, lettuce. After my 17-year-old-son gets home: nothing. Well, maybe lettuce.

Which is the best vacation you've ever had?
I go on vacation so seldom, they’re all pretty darn memorable. But right now I’d have to say the latest one. My mom decided to take the whole family with her on a Caribbean cruise right before Christmas. It wasn’t anything I would ever have decided to do on my own, but it was amazing. Best part: finding the 50’s-era piano bar our first night out, and having my son love it as much as I did and close the place down with me every night.

If given complete freedom to start afresh, what profession would you choose and why?
Yikes. I re-think this one almost daily, and the same four keep coming up – theoretical physicist, teacher, linguist, theologian. If I had to pick one, it would probably be the theoretical physicist.

Are you a morning person or a night person?
Night. Are you kidding? – I don’t even register on an EEG before noon…

Which is your most favorite place in this earth?
Am I limited to places I’ve actually been? Probably Manhattan. With the Glens of Antrim a close second. But I completely fell in love with the Isle of Skye when I was writing Heart of the Oak. I’d move there in a heartbeat, if I knew I could have Internet access…

About the Author

Rory Ni Coileain
I majored in creative writing, back when Respectable Colleges didn’t offer such a major, so I designed it myself – being careful to ensure that I never had to take a class before nine in the morning or take a Hemingway survey course. I was lucky enough to score the wonderful P.C. Hodgell as a major advisor, too, and to spend several years in a writer’s workshop with Eleanor Arnason. I graduated Phi Beta Kappa at the age of nineteen, sent off my first short story to an anthology being assembled by an author I idolized, got one of those rejection letters that you talk about with your therapist until you’re old and gray, and found other things to do, such as corporate law and nightclub singing, for the next thirty years or so, until I discovered, entirely by chance (except that I don’t believe in chance), the world of m/m erotic romance. Now I have a day job as a legal editor that I’m aching to quit, I’m the mother of a high school senior (when did THAT happen?) and a member of my church choir and the St. Mark’s Cathedral Choral Society, and I’m trying frantically to keep up with the adventures of a group of very randy Fae and tree spirits and the humans who can’t seem to help falling in love with them.

NEW RELEASE: Beatless by Amber L. Johnson

Synopsis
Mallory Durham has been left behind and it is making her feel less like an adult and more like an afterthought.

Divorce, sickness, educational aspirations being shattered, and her Aunt Sam moving into her home, have made Mal's life nearly unrecognizable to her.

When Tucker Scott re-enters her life along with his band, will they offer what she needs to once again find her voice and self confidence or will it strip her of it even more?

Told through the dual voices of Mallory as she navigates her new world, and Aunt Sam's letters to her niece, Beatless tells the story of two women at very different points in their life, fighting the same battles; proving that no matter what age a person is, there are always lessons to be learned.

Don't you wish you could just rewind time

and go back to when things were simple,

people were unchanged,

and we still believed in fairytales?

Harlie. JustRewind

“She fell off the swing from way up high. I saw it all. She landed on her face and says her arms hurt. She needs a doctor.” With a flurry of movement, several more adults surrounded. But my eyes kept going back to the boy’s. They were my safe place.
“What’s your name?” I asked, my breath coming out in gasps while the pain throbbed in my arms and chest.
“Francisco Javier. Yours?”
“Harlie,” I said. His hand smoothed my hair back and told me I’d be all right.
“Listen, here comes the ambulance. See, you’ll be just fine. They’ll take you to the hospital and get you fixed up.” And I replayed his words over and over as they hauled me off to the emergency room and put a cast on both of my arms.

???????????????????????????????????????

“Harlie, why are you here?”
Her blonde hair hung in two braids out of her straw hat. She wore a black T-shirt and a pair of painted on jeans with a pair of very worn, light brown cowboy boots. She looked beautiful and more mature. The lines on her face were more defined and less baby-like.
“My job.” She flicked her blue eyes up and I saw the moisture in them.
“Well, your job is done. Go home, there’s no need for you to come back either. I’m home now.” So much anger was built up inside me, and I just so happened to throw it at this poor innocent girl that did not deserve it at all. However, I couldn’t find it in me to stop.
“Hey, she’s more than welcome here. You can’t just come home after four years and boss us around.” Came the voice of my sister, Lupita, from behind me. She was the same age as Harlie, a year younger than me. They were thick as thieves since they started Kindergarten together.
“Fine.” I moved toward Whiskey, grabbed the curry brushes from Harlie’s hands, and stepped between her and my gelding. “There’s no need for her to be touching my horse.”
“You know, you’re an ungrateful jerk! She’s been here almost everyday since you’ve been gone taking care–”
“Lupita, come on, let’s go.” Harlie didn’t let her finish speaking and grabbed her by the arm leading her toward the main house.

Exclusive Excerpt,
Chapter One of Unchained Melody:

10 years ago . . . San Antonio, TX (Lackland Air Force Base)

Classic rock music played in the background. It was loud enough to tamp down the murmurs from patrons sat upon the surrounding stools at the bar and tables in the room. The familiar tunes were at a low volume, keeping the atmosphere quiet enough to hear the thoughts in my head.

The cheap, watered down booze, however, was doing its best to keep the thoughts quiet, too.

Tonight would be my last in San Antonio, Texas, USA. For a while, at least. Tomorrow I was being shipped out from Lackland Air Force Base to Afghanistan, where I would report for my first official assignment since graduating from the flight Academy. After four years of training, I’d earned my wings at long last, and was now going to get my shot at making my dream come true. I was determined to master the wild blue yonder.

In celebration, I’d come down to the Officer’s Club hoping to pick up some pretty little thang and coax her back to . . . well, some place. My room had been cleared and the key turned in; but definitely some place where I could get her out of her clothes and onto my joystick.

Don’t judge me.

At dawn I was leaving for war. Who knew how long it might be before I’d enjoy the company of a woman again, if ever. What if I were injured, or shot down and killed? Anything could happen in an instant. Was it so wrong of me to want one last night to capture some memories to relive in the dark days that were coming? My momma didn’t raise no fool: this country boy knew war wasn’t pretty. Since my daddy had raised me to be proud of being an American, I was putting myself into the hands of the government of my own free will.

Fiery hot, the liquid burned my throat each time I let more pour down my throat, all while watching . . . waiting.

The moment she walked into the establishment with a group of women—they always travelled in packs—I knew I’d found my target. That they were still clad in their uniforms told me they’d come to the bar straight from work.

Letting my eyes zero in on her curves pulled a low whistle from me while I took in the fitted tailoring of her crisp shirt and pants. Damn, BDU’s had never looked so good. I widened my gaze, backing it off to take in the full picture.

Her dark hair was pulled back in some sort of fancy twist. A few stray wisps caressed from her high cheekbones down the length of her long neck. I tried to picture how she would look with that long hair free and cascading down. How it would feel to fist it as I guided her mouth over my hardness.

The imagined visual was making me stiff, so I took another swig of my Jeremiah Weed, gave a silent nod to the Air Force pilots who had gone before me, and then returned to my perusal. I lingered on her supple chest, appreciating the ample swell before my eyes continued their tour of her body, lest I zone out on another fantasy again. Her stomach was flat and she had a narrow waist that flared out into her hips. Hips I could imagine holding onto with a tight grip while I took her from behind, watching my dick disappear over and over again in her tight heat.

Jesus, Chandler, get a grip! I hadn’t spoken to her, didn’t even know her name yet, but the visceral reactions to her were fuddling my thought processes. There was no question she was it: the one I would be seducing.

How wrong it would turn out I was. Who could’ve guessed that I would be the one to be seduced and left haunted by her? Not me, thus I approached her like a trusting lamb being led to the slaughter.

“May I have the pleasure of this dance, darlin’?” I crooned near her ear. My Texas accent thickened while my body pressed against her, the loud music a perfect cover for being so forward.

She lifted her toffee eyes up to mine and gave a curt nod. “I’d be delighted, kind sir.” A brief giggle revealed her flirty nature. “But only if you give me your name so that my friends here know who I wandered off with.”

The lady had spunk; I liked that. Her direct request also told me she wasn’t stupid. “Lieutenant Marshall Chandler, at your service, Ma’am,” I drawled while bending over to exaggerate my introduction. “And you are?”

“Lieutenant Melody Carmichael. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” Melody winked and extended her hand toward me, the gleaming butter bar on her shoulder indicating she was a second lieutenant, same as me.

I flashed her a grin then took her hand and led her out onto the makeshift dance floor of the O-Club where we boogied, did the Macarena, hand-jived, and even slow danced for the next few hours. We rested for bathroom breaks and to sip on our drinks: Jeremiah for me, Long Island for Melody.

During the small reprieves, we got to know each other through conversation. Melody was an emergency nurse with aspirations to become a full-fledged doctor someday. She was gorgeous and smart. I tried to be suave and serious when I shared my aspirations.

It was my plan to work up through the ranks until I was a Colonel, but I’d not settle for less than Major. I wanted to be the best fighter pilot the Air Force had ever seen. And, of course, to know what every inch of her tasted and felt like before the night was over.

She laughed and swatted my arm when I admitted the last part.

Pulling her close as the strains of Unchained Melody filtered around us, I whispered, “I wasn’t kidding,” against her ear before nuzzling behind it with my nose. “Don’t you want to support the troops, Lieutenant? I leave for war in the morning, darlin’. Send me off with memories that will keep me warm in those heartless trenches.” The plea was begged against her lips.

Melody melted against me and I pressed my lips tighter to hers, waiting for her to give in and grant me passage. It was magical—and hot as fuck—when she did. All sounds of the bar vanished until we opened our eyes and knew it was time to get out of there.

We ended up back at her place, with our hands all over each other as soon as the front door closed. My shirt was gone, hers was untucked and unbuttoned, her full breasts taunting me while I kissed and licked down her neck toward her cleavage.

Her moans from me rubbing my lips and nose over her flesh, went straight to my dick, making it pulse and throb with longing. I was just about to flick the clasp on her bra and release her breasts for my pleasure when she pulled back, bracing a hand against my toned pecs while panting heavily.

“I need a minute, Marshall.” She held up a finger and ordered, “Stay,” before turning and disappearing into her bedroom.

With her absence, my head cleared a bit and I found myself questioning if I should stay and follow through with this. One night stands had never been a problem for me, but all of a sudden, this felt wrong—demeaning.

I actually liked this girl. Like, really liked her. It was easy to laugh and talk with her. She was bright and funny, sassy and daring. Not to mention, drop dead gorgeous. If you’d asked me to describe the woman I would settle down with in that second, my answer would’ve been: “She’s in the next room.”

That final thought was like a bucket of ice water being dumped on my lust ridden haze.

Stop it, Chandler . . . you’re looking for a quick, satisfying fuck to send you on your way, remember? You’re interested in things like how tight her pussy is and what color her nipples are—and whether or not she likes to have them bit. Don’t think about how witty her mind is or the way her eyes twinkle when she laughs. It would be folly to admit how her laugh sounded like angels singing. I also tried to pretend I hadn’t noticed how her eyes were like soulful bits of candy which radiated innocence. Honestly, everything about her was warmth and comfort . . . and home.

My mom would love her.

What? No! Big tits, perfect ass, plump lips that were going to look awesome wrapped around my dick . . .
“Marshall . . .” Melody’s husky voice called from the bedroom effectively halting the battle that was waging in my head.

Looking down, I was startled to discover my hand on the doorknob. I was ready to bolt—or was I? The way I saw it, two choices were before me: I could walk out now and never know what might have been with her, or I could heed her call and go into that bedroom to experience what would undoubtedly be, the most amazing sex of my life.

My dick twitched, making the decision for me. “Coming, darlin’!”

As she learned more about her abilities the more she encountered the dark side of death--and what it does to the people you love. On February 18th the Wraith Series comes to a gripping end.
Strong. Loyal. Independent. These aren’t the words Jane ever expected to use to describe herself, but in the years since she first began seeing ghosts things have changed. A lot. Jane has spent the last two years losing one person after the other. Both dead and alive. But this year things will be different. She’s entering her freshman year of art school, rooming with her best friend Ava and has a new boyfriend. Oh, and she’s no longer afraid that she’s Shadow Bound with a direct connection to ghosts. In fact, she’s learned to use her abilities for her benefit. Jane soon discovers she can’t walk away from her past. The wounds from her battle with Charlotte are deep and no matter what she tells herself, the break up with Connor weighs heavy on her heart. Balancing these emotions prove to be a weakness for her and Jane finds herself in a fight against the most dangerous spirits she’s encountered yet.

w3-src-main-med     Grave Possession The buzzing razor grazed over my ear, sending vibrations across my scalp, down to my jaw. Each pass felt like a weight being lifted. Ava smiled from the chair next to mine, swiveling back and forth. When the next hunk of hair fell to the ground, she gave me a thumbs up. I smiled back nervously, hoping her encouragement was a good thing because I wasn’t facing the mirror and, really, why did I even think this was a good idea? “It looks awesome,” Ava said the minute the razor snapped off. “Seriously.” “It really does,” the stylist said. “Ready?” “Yes,” I said. They couldn’t see my hands under the cape. They were latched to the arms of the chair, fighting off the panic, because holy crap, what had I done? She spun my chair toward the mirror on the wall and I got the first look of my new hairstyle. “Isn’t it amazing?” Ava asked. She stood and ran her fingers over the short-clipped hair over my ears. The rest of my hair had been pulled back in a ponytail, giving the appearance of a mohawk. I turned my head back and forth to get the best view. I wanted something different and I got it. My hair had grown out over the last two years, since I’d cut it off in a fit of anxiety and panic. It now hung down past my shoulders to the middle of my back, but I wanted something new. Something to start off the next phase of my life. “You look badass.” Ava’s face popped into the mirror. “Perfect for college.” I broke into a grin, turning my head side to side, checking out the new look. The new me. “Freshman year is gonna rock.” * Phase two involved hot pink hair dye. Just a couple of streaks down the back. Ava left after the bleaching process, leaving me with four copies of People magazine and a lot of questions about who, exactly, picked the Sexiest Man Alive. “Five minutes,” Suzie the hairdresser said, pulling the domed hair dryer over my head. She left me alone in the drying area, a room painted neon green. Everything had a sickly glow. A shadow crossed the front window and I looked up in time to see the woman pass by again. It was her third attempt to come inside, but she obviously hadn’t gotten the hang of it yet. I lifted the dryer, ceasing the dull roar of air and said, “Suzie, do you mind if I step outside for some fresh air?” “Hurry and be careful with the foils.” “I will.” I pushed open the glass door and found her waiting. A faint blue light radiated from the crown of her graying hair like a halo. Blue. Safe, but disappointing. “Follow me,” I said to the woman, leading her around the side of the building. “I only have a minute. What’s the problem?” She stepped forward and I held up my hand. “Don’t come any closer or I’ll leave and won’t help you. Just tell me what’s wrong.” Helping the woman only took a couple of minutes now that I had a system.
  1. Always stay in public. It’s better to look crazy than dead.
  2. Almost all information can be found quickly on a smart phone. I no longer needed to go home to help these people pass over.
  3. Never make personal attachments to ghosts. I was no longer allowing them to hurt me emotionally or otherwise.
  4. Take my payment in full.
“You need to let go,” I told her. “It’s okay. The cancer finally won.” “But I never got to see my grandbaby. Did my daughter have her? Is she okay?” Ah. I glanced at my phone and went against my gut. “Look, I never read the obituaries. It’s too depressing. But I’ll read the names of the survivors and you let me know if it’s there, okay?” Hope lit in her faded eyes and she nodded. “Survived by her two sons, Robert and James, and their wives—“ “It’s my daughter,” she repeated. I skipped ahead. “One daughter, Karen, age 29, and her three granddaughters, Macy, Ariana and Bridget.” “Bridget. That’s her.” “Great,” I said, pushing the phone back in my pocket. “It’s time for you to move on.” “Thank you.” “Just one thing,” I said. “Take my hand.” “What?” she asked, staring at my hand in confusion. “Take it,” I said, thrusting it toward her. Tentatively she placed her hand on mine and a surge of energy rushed through my limbs, filling the darkness and pushing the cold that had settled in my bones last year. The relief would be fleeting, but the small hit would hold me over until I could find something more substantial later. I re-entered the salon and found Suzie waiting for me. She checked her watch. “Don’t blame me if your hair falls out,” she said. “I won’t.” I settled into the swiveling chair, cheeks rosy in the mirror. “Let’s do this.”

Lex Talionis (n.)- The law of retaliation, whereby a punishment resembles the offense committed in kind and degree.

Two wrongs. One right. He met her under the worst circumstances. She was still married. To the man who'd stolen from his company. But none of that would matter, because Chase would have her. At any cost.

ADR

SYNOPSIS:

To Chase Blaine, it really was that simple. Douglas Colton had stolen millions from Chase’s company. He had to pay. Chase had every intention of cornering the bastard and making sure he ended up in jail.
Then he came face-to-face with Douglas’s wife, Aria. One look at her changed all his plans, warping them into a much darker and perverse plot to get his revenge.
He would offer Douglas his freedom...in exchange for a single date with his wife.
To a man like Chase, a man that hadn’t truly felt emotions in a long time, Aria’s presence soon became more addicting than a drug. A problem considering that she might never forgive him for blackmailing her, despite the fact that at times she seems just as unwillingly fascinated by him as he is by her.

Excerpt:

Chase’s hands shot up, and he cupped her face between his large palms. The feel of his skin kick started her entire system. She gasped as air rushed through her windpipe. His scent made her throat close right back up.
Her body throbbed.
Painfully.
He pulled her closer, eliminating the last bit of space between them. “Tell me the real reason why.” He took deep breaths, his face tilted toward hers. His eyes probed hers.
Too deep. She couldn’t focus passed that stare—his scent.
“Aria.”
“Chase, I…” She pressed her hands to his chest. She had to push him away. Now.
She couldn’t. Everything inside her was shaken. Everything about her was fluctuating wildly, realigning in ways she couldn’t understand. Her atoms seemed to tremble.
For him. Her body was liquefying for him.
Chase cupped the back of her neck with one hand. His thumb stroked her. The sensation barreled through every nerve ending in her body.
“I wish I was strong enough, Aria. I fucking do,” he mumbled, voice gone hoarse.
Aria didn’t have a chance to ask him what he meant.
He leaned down. For a split second, she was convinced he was going to kiss her.
And she wanted it so fucking bad. Her entire body opened up, softening in preparation for that kiss.
Chase stopped an inch away from her lips, eyes heavy-lidded as he focused on her mouth. He was panting.
She couldn’t think. His full lips were right there. All she had to do was lean up on her toes. Less than an inch and she would know if he tasted as good as he smelled. If those lips felt as good as—
Chase tilted his head and pressed his cheek against hers. He nuzzled her, his jaw sliding across her own with the movement.
Aria stared over his shoulder, trapped by—what? Arousal? Confusion? Disappointment?
Oh God.
He let loose a deep groan that stole all the sensation from her legs. With a gasp, she clutched at his shoulders.
“So warm. Soft,” he whispered, so low she almost didn’t hear him.
Against her God damned will, she felt her focus zero in and become all about him. She had to extricate herself. Get away. But her body wasn’t obeying; her nails had become claws determined to keep him right where he was.
No, Aria. You have to stop this. You have to.
She didn’t want to. She wanted more. More of his scent, his smooth cheek pressed to hers, more of him. His lips. His—
“Ch–Chase.” She pushed at his shoulders. Her attempts were pathetic. Her body wanted, with a desperation it had never wanted with before, and it was determined to have. “I… I…”
Chase’s hand tightened around the back of her neck, holding her still so that he could murmur right up against her cheek. “Aria.”
Fuck. The feel of his lips. His breath.
The freaking way he kept saying her name!
“You have yet to answer my question.” His bottom lip slid across her skin and his tongue touched her as he spoke.
That’s because I can’t, you jackass. Oh, if only those words would leave her mouth.
She had no idea what the answer to his question was. All she knew right then was the feel of his tongue as it flicked her skin. The feeling palpated across her flesh, sliced through the layers, and slid in deep.
She fisted his blazer, feeling faint. Suddenly, he backed her up, driving her right into the wall behind her. Aria felt her back hit the wall; she expected him to press that large, sculpted body of his into her right after.
God help her, she wanted him to.
He didn’t, remaining inches away from her, with those lips still pressed to her cheek.
“You want me to answer the question for you, Aria?”
Dread raced through her at his low, heated question. She knew that whatever he was going to say, it would hit her too hard, too deep, and way too truthfully.
“I’m going to tell you what I think.”
Please don’t. She knew right then how obvious her body’s reaction was. It was too God damned obvious.
“I think,” Chase paused, brushing her skin lightly with his lips.
Aria shook her head, choking on everything he was and everything he was making her fucking want.
“You feel this between us, Aria.” He kissed her cheek one more time, lingering just enough to drive her wild. “As wrong as everything has been so far… You. Feel. This.”
Chase pulled away from her and stormed down the hall.
The sound of the door slamming open and closed reverberated through Aria, mixing with the maelstrom churning in her body.
She sagged against the wall.

By the time she'd reached kindergarten, she had an extensive vocabulary and her obsession with words began to bleed into every aspect of her life.
An avid reader in her teens, her fascination with Japanese anime eventually led her to the universe of fan fiction, which became her on-again, off-again hobby for the next ten years. During that time she amassed a following of fans that, by her own admission, she would never be able to live without. It was those fans who encouraged her to step beyond the fan fiction realm and try her talent in the publishing world.
N. Isabelle Blanco now has three novellas and two full-length novels under her belt, and spends her days working as an author, web programmer, marketer, and graphic designer. That is when she isn't handling her "spawn", as she calls her son, and brainstorming with him about his future career as a comic book illustrator.

Signed Paperbacks by R.E. Hargrave

Why, you may ask. Because I can

Because calling the shots is one of the beautiful perks of being self-published.

And because, for a tiny bit of effort on my part, maybe I can help a soldier 'escape' their harsh reality for a couple of hours by giving them a book to disappear into.

Of course my novels are in paperback, that's to be expected, but I made the decision to put my novellas into print form as well so that I could make a larger donation of books going overseas to Kuwait and Afghanistan.

Quite the collection of donations they've got going, isn't it?

What that means for my readers, whether they be civilians or soldiers, is that if you want an autographed copy, you can now get one ... and for cheaper than ordering from Amazon.
Unfortunately, I have to set my prices at minimums determined by Createspace; so they have to be more when listed on Amazon or other sites.
However, what I can do, is extend the benefit of my cost when ordering direct from the printer, to YOU.

To order your signed copy, CLICK HERE and fill out the form. I'll send you an invoice through PayPal based on your selections, and once that has been paid, then I'll be making my way to the post office.
United States, Canada, Germany, and International Pricing provided.

EXCERPT

Prologue
May 12th 2012
Richard had filled out nicely since she had last seen him. The thin cotton of his shirt clung to his biceps, skimming his taut abdomen as it tucked into his dress pants. His hips were still lean and tight, and she closed her eyes as she tried not to remember how they had felt between her thighs, as he had moved inside her, breathing softly in her ear, as she had moaned and whimpered and—
She shook her head. She wasn't standing in his large, oak-panelled office just to take a trip down memory lane, as pleasant as that might be. She had flown here, over three thousand miles, to tell him what he deserved to know.
Inappropriate laughter bubbled up in her throat as she considered the ridiculous melodrama of the situation. Her 17-year-old self would be rolling her eyes, wondering how this 29-year-old woman had managed to turn a seemingly promising life into a soap opera.
She glanced up at his face, looking at his lips, which had turned down into a deep scowl. His eyes had narrowed beneath his brows, and his straight, patrician, nose was slightly crinkled in response to her presence.
The contempt he felt toward her was radiating from him.
Hanna tried to keep her breathing steady, reminding herself that although she was in his office, on the penthouse floor of his building, this was her show.
She was in control.
If he viewed her with contempt now, God only knew how he would feel once he'd heard what she had to say. He had been an integral part of her life for so long—as a friend, a confidante, even a lover—but never before did he have the power to break her.
"As nice as it is to see you," he drawled, the tone of his voice making it patently clear that her being in his office was anything but nice, "I have a meeting in five minutes. Exactly what is it that you want?"
He had no idea, but this was it. Time to open her mouth and tell him what he needed to hear. Her arms suddenly felt heavy, and her fingers trembled; a physical manifestation of her nervousness. Her laughter was replaced by something more unsettling, as she tried to take in a deep breath and form the words that she had travelled all this way to say.
Her tongue darted out to moisten her lips. She watched his gaze move down to her mouth, staring at it with dark eyes, as her teeth drew in her bottom lip.
"Richard." Her voice was surprisingly strong. She could do this. She could tell him the truth, and then get the hell out of here.
Back on a plane.
Back home.
Back to him.
"Richard, we had a baby."
