I've got a guest here today to discuss her upcoming second novel.
~ Interview with Wendy ~
Do you like dogs or cats?
I like them both but I'm definitely a cat person. We moved to Wales last year with our tent and 3 cats and by the time we moved into our house 10 weeks later, we had acquired a fourth, Flibberty Jibbet, Jibby for short.
If you were a tree, what would you be?
I would be a beech tree. She's the queen of the forest and her broad, leafy canopy provides a great home for birds, especially owls and woodpeckers. Beech nuts provide food for humans and animals and her flower remedy enhances sympathy and tolerance.
Describe yourself: what do you think about yourself and do you think people perceive you in the same way?
I'm honest, empathetic and loyal. I try to be organised but often my mind wanders, caught up in stories and ideas. Fearsome and fiery when roused, especially to protect my children, I can also be shy, often feeling like a fish out of water among strangers.
I'm not sure how others perceive me...you'd have to ask them!
What kind of music do you like?
To play? Beethoven piano music
To listen? Kula Shaker, Touch the Earth, Medieval Babes, Gomez, High Llamas
To dance? African tribal, Flamenco, Indian
Which is your most cherished childhood memory?
Hand in hand with my dad, yellow bucket in my other hand, picking my way between the rock pools while dad found tiny crabs to go in my bucket.
Which is your favourite place on earth?
I've recently discovered a beach near us called Cae Bach...stunning, peaceful and exhilarating all in one go!
Wrath of Angels
Angel Parsons – wife, lover, entrepreneur and witch – is back and though she strives to put her past behind her, Lilith the Dark Goddess has other ideas.
Angel has the power at her finger tips. The choice is hers. Will she evoke her wrath to take her revenge on Lilith or will she summon nature's forces and the strongest emotion on earth to put right the wrongs of the Dark Goddess?
