Synopsis:

Ever since Alexis Newman was young, she knew her path in life, but to get to the top you have to start from the bottom. With no man in her life, she sets out with her best friend to dance her frustrations away.

Catching the eye of the crusaders MC resident assassin, was definitely not in her life plans.

Cobra is not the type of alpha you read about, he’s not romantic, he doesn’t date, he doesn’t care. His life is all about protecting his brothers, doing whatever necessary. That all changes when he spots her across the club. She sparks something in him. Ice cold Cobra starts wondering whether he can have a happily ever after but at what cost?

Setting his sight on love was not his life plan.

With war brewing between the crusaders and their rivals the hell riders, there is danger lurking around every corner. Will Cobra bring Alexis to the dark side? Or walk away forever?

Will Alexis give up her perfect life plan for an unknown future?

Decision time. Head or heart? Life, love or death?

Excerpt:
Cobra’s hands work their way up my legs, making sensuous strokes on their travels. Goose bumps rise on my skin, sending shivers down my spine.

Before I know it, he cups between my legs, roughly, and moving his body closer, almost completely covering me. His plump pink lips crash to mine, forcing my head back into the recliner. Opening my mouth to let him in, he forcefully removed his sweats down my jelly like legs throwing them somewhere behind him. Not breaking from the mind blowing kiss, he rips my panties and tosses them toward the pants.

Finally, not that I was complaining, his lips leave mine. He kisses and nips his way down my body, leaving me writhing around in frustration. Fuck. Shit. Crap. Holy motherfucking cow. I think I’ve just died and gone to heaven. He’s sucking hard on my clit, baring his teeth every now and then. The warmth of my juices flowing freely, causing another shiver to race through me.

I moan shamelessly, gripping hard to the armrests. “More, Cobra. More, please,” I say in breath of air.

The Last Betrayal (Crusaders MC #2)

Goodreads:

Synopsis:
Prologue.

I was unglued. Completely unhinged to the point of flipping everyone off and saying fuck this shit, packing my stuff and riding across the country where no-one can find me.

My heart feels like it’s bleeding wrong, pumping blood in the wrong direction. Cracked and shattered, it would take a lifetime to repair.

I may have known Lauren just a few months but she flew in, wreaking havoc with her bubbly persona, latching onto me like I was her Goddamn lifeline.
It was all fucking crap. It was just a bit of fun for her, she told everyone, wasn’t ready to settle down with the white picket fence and 2.5 kids. Did I ask for that shit? Hell to the fucking no. Never once did I mention I wanted all that. I just wanted her, as she was, but mine; only mine.

She broke me. Big bad biker dude and she fucking broke me.

My name’s Champ and it’s my turn to fucking talk.

Excerpt
“Ah hell, it’s Sophia,” the cop said as he crouched next to the woman in Mason’s arms. “How do you know her?” Mason’s head jerked up and he eyed the cop. “She’s been looking for her brother again. He keeps running away from his foster home. She’s been searching for him the last four nights. I told her it wasn’t safe.” Mason looked down at the unconscious woman and agreed with the patrolman’s assessment. “How much longer before the ambulance arrives?” Mason clipped out the question. “How bad is she? What happened?” The cop nodded to where Mason’s jacket was covering Sophia’s torso. “They just got her top off, but they cut her pretty badly on the arm. I’ve got her bandaged and most of the bleeding stopped. She’s going to need a shit-load of stitches. What’s the ETA on the ambulance?” Mason shifted her gently as he again gave the cop a penetrating stare. “It’s about fifteen more minutes. There was a bad pile-up on the Five Freeway with fatalities. You did good work tonight. You military?” the cop asked as he assessed Mason. “SEAL.” “I was Navy too,” the cop said. “You okay with her while I work on getting these two assholes taken care of?” The cop nodded towards the two thugs who were sitting handcuffed in the alley and being looked after by his partner. “I’ve got her.” Mason looked down at Sophia again ensuring she was okay. “What about the girl who made the call?” “What girl?” the cop asked. Mason looked around and realized the girl and his phone were long gone. “There was another girl who looked like she’d been beaten too. She got me to come over here to help.” Mason gave the information like he was reporting to his commander. “She must have taken off after she called for help,” the officer said. “Oh no,” came the soft words. Mason looked down and saw green eyes clouded with worry looking up at him. “What? Did you say something Sophia?” he asked. “The girl is gone? She’s hurt.” It was hard to understand her through her bruised mouth. “Settle honey, you’re hurt. You need to stay calm and rest until the ambulance comes.” Mason watched as she struggled to get up, and then cried out in pain. She collapsed against him. Fuck, it had to be her shoulder. He’d already taken off his shirt and used it as a bandage and a tourniquet earlier. He eased back the leather jacket that he had placed over her to see if it had come loose. “Don’t move again, okay Sophia.” God, when would the ambulance get here? “You’ve got to find the girl I think they cut her too. I’ve got to get up, I need to look for Billy. Please don’t hold me down. I need to get up, let me up,” she damn near screamed the last few words. Mason realized she was delirious. The cop looked over at him and he shook his head. “Sophia, my name is Mason. We’re going to get you to the hospital. Do you understand me, honey?” He waited to see if she was tracking. She finally nodded. “Good, after they’re done taking care of you, you can come look for Billy again.” She relaxed a little, and he relaxed a little as well. “And the girl? Can I look for the girl too?” she begged him with big eyes. “Yes, you can look for the girl too.” He stroked the hair from her forehead. “Do you promise Mason?” She tried to lift her arm to grab the front of his jacket and let out a small shriek of pain. “Why does it hurt?” He saw her start to tremble and wrapped his jacket closer around her ensuring it was snug so she couldn’t move her arms any longer. “Are you warm now?” “Yes. Will I be able to go to work and then look for Billy tomorrow?” It took a moment for him to understand her, and when he did it took him a few seconds to formulate a response other than ‘Hell No’. “I think you’re going to be in the hospital for at least a couple of days.” “No, I hate hospitals, don’t make me go to the hospital.” He watched as tears dripped down her temples into her silky blonde hair. “Honey, you have to go you’ve been injured. A doctor has to help you.” She was trembling so bad he was worried she was going into shock. “I can’t afford a hospital. Can you take me home?” God, she was breaking his heart. “Let’s see what the doctor says first.” Mason heard the siren and Sophia must have heard it too. Somehow she pushed off the heavy leather coat. “No, no ambulance, no hospital. I have to find Billy.” She tried getting up one last time and groaned as she put pressure on her cut shoulder. “You’ve got to stay still.” He couldn’t believe the compassion this woman had, here she was bleeding and bruised, almost raped, and her entire concern was for her brother and the other girl. She was beautiful inside and out. Just then she gripped her head where he saw a large bruise and lump forming. He saw her green eyes begin to glaze over. “Honey, stay with me.” He brushed his fingers tenderly along her cheek willing her to stay awake. “Mason’s a nice name,” her words were slurred. Just as the EMT’s arrived she passed out.

~ Excerpt from a scene in an Irish pub ~

“It looks like we order at the bar. What do you want?”
She wiggled out of her jacket, shrugging her shoulders in the process. “Surprise me.”
I took her coat and laid it in the empty booth seat across from us, and then, I removed mine, too. After ordering, I grabbed our drinks and slid in beside Flanagan, knowing that I should’ve sat on the opposite side but unable to help myself. “I ordered you a nut brown ale, and I got a stout,” I said, setting our glasses down. “No fruity drinks. I think you’ve already met your quota for Pear Martinis this year. These were brewed locally.”
“Forcing me to step out of my comfort zone?” she asked, raising her eyebrows.
“Yep.” I cupped my palm around the glass of stout. “I also ordered us a couple of steaks. The meat’s delivered from a local farm daily. How’s that for fresh?”
“A steak sounds so good right now,” she said, fluttering her eyes closed like she was already imagining the taste. She glanced at my glass. “Let me try yours.”
I put my arm around the back of the booth, just behind her shoulders, and pushed the glass in her direction.
She took a tiny sip and wrinkled her nose. “That’s really strong.”
“Come on, Flanagan,” I goaded. “You didn’t even get enough to taste. Drink up.”
She took a bigger swig, daintily wiping her mouth with her napkin when she was done. “Whew!” She shook her head rapidly as if the taste lingered. “That’s still really strong.”
I chuckled, lifting the glass to my lips and taking a long drink. The taste was much different than my usual beer, and while I didn’t like it quite as well, I decided to reserve my judgment for when I finished.
“Try yours,” I suggested, nodding toward her glass. She took a small sip. Then, seeming satisfied with that, she took a longer drink. “Much better.” She held the glass to me. “Here, you try it.”
There was something magical about being in an entirely different country, surrounded by total strangers in an unfamiliar setting. It could almost make me feel like I was someone else entirely, like all the shit that had happened in my life didn’t apply here, like for a little while I could escape my own reality, my own shortcomings.
I knew I shouldn’t unless I was prepared for all the consequences. Once I crossed the line, there was no going back.
But damn she was sexy.
And I’d been thinking about it ever since she sat down beside me in the bar a few months ago when she’d returned to Creekview for good.
I tried to think about all the ways this could go wrong. And if I screwed things up, I could lose our friendship, something I cherished. Maybe the best thing that I could do for Flanagan right now was to leave her alone.
But I was selfish.
And I wanted her.
And I didn’t have the strength to resist her, not here, not now.
“I think I will try your drink,” I said softly, accepting the glass from her and setting it back on the table without drinking from it.
She gave me a strange look, her lips parting in surprise.
My arm slid from the back of the booth to her shoulders, and I gently pulled her toward me. With my free hand, I cupped her cheek, my thumb resting near the corner of her mouth. I leaned down, pausing when I was mere inches from her face. Her eyes widened, and her chest rose as if she had sucked in a small breath and held it. She licked her lips, and I was aroused by her innocent gesture. I watched her. Her eyes closed, her long dark lashes fanning over her cheek. Her skin was soft and smooth as my thumb arced lightly across her face.
Damn, I couldn’t wait another second. I lowered my lips to hers, delivering the softest of kisses. Then, my tongue teased her lips, begging her to open to me, so that I could taste her, something I had deprived myself of for far too long.
The nutty flavors of the ale melded with her sweetness, a tantalizing concoction that permeated my brain with pleasure. Her hand squeezed my thigh, bringing me the satisfaction of knowing that she was enjoying our kiss every bit as much as I. When I deepened the kiss, a soft moan emanated from her throat, and her hand slid higher, gripping more tightly as if she needed something to hold on to. The effect had my entire body standing at full attention. How the hell had I stayed away from her this long?
Forcing my thoughts away from fears that had become my own personal barrier, I concentrated only on her. Reluctantly ending the kiss, I pulled away slightly and found her deep sapphire eyes focused on me.
“That’s the best damn ale I ever tasted,” I said softly, well aware that her hand still rested on my thigh.
“You didn’t even get enough to taste,” she whispered, mimicking me. “Drink up.”
