 DANCE WITH YOUR GHOST

by SKYE TURNER & SLOANE NICOLE

Release Date: October 2025

There’s a rhythm to grief in Cypress Ridge. It’s as slow as molasses and as sharp as shattered glass.

Liora Daniell knows it well.

She’s danced through loss, swayed through silence, and pirouetted through dreams that don’t feel like dreams at all.

But the night she hears his voice… everything shifts.

He is shadow and sorrow. A tethered soul with eyes that burn like memory. And when he touches her… the veil between their worlds trembles.

Bound by blood.

Undone by fate.

Some ghosts don’t haunt places… they haunt people.

And some love stories never die.

They just wait.

Dance With Your Ghost is a lush, spicy Southern Gothic tale of aching hearts, cursed bloodlines, and a love powerful enough to cross time, death, and everything in between.

MY THOUGHTS:

A gorgeous cover, romance, history, low country lore, mystery, generational arcs, and so much more. This story has it all!

“I feel it… not just in the way my heart stutters—but in the way my soul settles… like something that’s been off-kilter is finally starting to right itself.” Liora from Dance with Your Ghost.

I’ve known Skye as an author for a long time; however, this is my first time getting around to reading one of her MANY books. The cover, blurb, and concept of Dance with Your Ghost entranced me, so I had to buy it!

Here’s what I found…

An immediate pulling into the Louisiana landscape. If you’ve been, you know. If you haven’t, this is legit… and you will see, feel, and breathe every element. Turner’s use of descriptive imagery is beyond perfect. I grew up in the south, I’ve been to NOLA a few times (plus other parts of LA), and Skye reflects it all with precision.

As an author and editor, I tend to analyze as I read (can’t help it) and did find a few errors which held me back from a full five stars, but—and I can’t say this loud enough—the story is SO riveting and full of magic (both literal and figurative) that I couldn’t look away. Some aspects I guessed, yet Turner still surprised me with some twists and turns along the way.

SO many twists and turns, bayous, flowers, ballet, pure raw attraction… just, I can’t praise this beautiful tale enough.

Skye/Sloane are BRILLIANT. An absolute MUST READ!
